Applying to WAG: Anyone can apply to join our music group and community ranging from artists and producers to merch entrepreneurs and content creators. Applying is FREE and we only require you to fill out the W.A.G Application Form page.
Mixes and Masters from a WAG affiliated audio engineer are $30 together or $15 each separately per song for all non-members and members. We expect all money to be paid up front before production or half up beforehand and the other half paid after production is finished. We also require all recordings to be sent individually without effects and in WAV or MP3 format for production, however this doesn't limit the artist to also sending a demo of what they recorded as reference. Recordings should be done using a dynamic or condenser microphone as well as recorded in an acceptable space for such practice (quiet, soundproofed. lack of echo, etc). When distributing a song produced by WAG, be sure to follow any song credit guidelines depending on the terms of who produced the song. Revisions for mixes or masters are free the first time around, but an additional $5 fee will be charged for each revision requested afterward. We ask all artists to be patient during the production process and if a refund is requested then we ask you to inquire with chris@wagrecords.com.
The Beat Store serves up all sorts of beats with different pricingdepending on the producer. After buying a beat, you will be granted the right to use it for profit as long as the creator is credited as a beat-maker or producer of the song. Once a beat is bought from the store it will be taken down to prevent any copyright issues. Note that there are NO REFUNDS for our beats. For producers and beat-makers who are non-members, we offer another platform on our beat store for you to sell your instrumentals along with a snippet on our YouTube channel. We charge a $25 fee for each beat put on our stores with 100% of the royalties guaranteed via online payment from us. For producers and beat-makers who are members of WAG, we charge NO fee and members receive 80% of all the royalties.
Studio Listings are also available on our website. For anyone who have either an open studio location or a homemade studio, email chris@wagrecords.com for a permanent listing on our sites as well as promotion. All we require to see is proof of the studio being a real public or accessible location along with photo evidence of the studio environment. For non-members, listing a studio will cost a one-time $30 fee and all potential clients will be directed to your preferred booking method. Members of WAG can list their studio for FREE. Artists can find the closest possible studios to them by looking on our Studio Map on the Studio Listings subpage. Note that adresses for homemade studios may not be publicly disclosed and only shared privately as that information is confidential to the studio owner.
Media Promo is also an option for all artists who'd like to inquire. We publish short and sweet reel-style music reviews on our Instagram, YouTube, and Reel Stuff blog. For non-members, you can get a promo from WAG for a $20 fee or submit your music down in our Music Submissions found at the bottom of our Home page and we may pick you out for NO charge if your submission is accepted. Members of WAG recieve this promo for FREE. Note that there are NO REFUNDS for our promo fees if the content is already publiushed.
