This service provides both a mix and master for your song for $30. You can have an individual mix or an individual master, each for a price of $15. Our DAW for both mixing and mastering tracks is through Logic Pro X, where we have an extensive library of audio FX and vocal presets.
Our process always starts with the mix, balancing the levels of volume and compression when going through each track (lead vocals, backup vocals, instruments, etc.) individually. During the mixing process we also try to create a nice balance of EQ so that there will be a nice sound when listening for each frequency band along the spectrum. For tracks like vocals, there will also be plenty of opportunities to add interesting touches like delay, reverb, and even distortion. After finalizing a mix for each individual track to fit the sound of one another, we add the master.
When mastering, we focus on the overall sound, forming another mix that will polish and emphasize parts of the whole song. Just like the mix for individual tracks, the master will also use compressors and EQ's greatly until the song has both good volume level and a clean sound where every element can be heard.
